Finally - Fergie


Winter Retreat was spiritually a rude (not in a bad connotation) awakening for me.
The verse I hated most: Revelation 3:16, "Since you are lukewarm and neither hot nor cold, I am going to spit you out of my mouth." kept haunting me. The fact is I am not sure if I will ever give up the world. Everything and anything that takes you away from God, even if it is essentially good-natured (academics, family, romance etc.), is an idol, is adultery.
Such a crazy book: Crazy Love, Overwhelmed By A Relentless God
especially the chapter Profile of a Lukewarm.

I am the Lukewarm.

But at the end of the retreat I just felt so serene and peaceful. I made a promise and I gnna keep it and my burden is light :D But oh remind me to change this foul temper of mine and how I am too overconfident about myself.

Then tonight it was that super sermon Covered in the Dust of the Rabbi by Rob Bell. I need more of that.

My Rabbi is awesome.
